Pre purchase inspection & timber pest report

There are two types of inspections

  • Pre purchase inspections. (Carried out according to AS4349.2 2010)
  • Timber pest inspection (carried out according to AS 3660.2)
  • Many pests can cause us stress and frustration, however none have the capacity to cause as such financial damage as the common termite. It is for this reason that we strongly recommend our customers have annual termite inspections.
  • Australian Standard AS3660.2 indicates that inspections be conducted at intervals of not more than 12 months.

How long will the inspection take and where do they inspect?

Redknight inspectors are fully qualified and fully insured. And have extensive knowledge in Termite control. It takes at least 1-3 hrs. to do a  FULL comprehensive inspection internally and externally. We closely inspect the sub-floor, roof-void and each room in the property. We also inspect any non-connected structures like gazebos, sheds, decking’s etc. too to a distance of 30 Meters from the property carried out in accordance of AS3660 2010 and AS 4349 201

What equipment do you use to search for termites?

Redknight has invested around $40,000 of the latest termite detection equipment to assist us better In searching for these pest termites.
